PARK AVENUNE VILLA – Assisted Living Facility:
Nurse (LPN): P/T
This position is for a dedicated nurse interested in working a part-time day shift (generally 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM) position for 24 hours per week. Hours may be flexible and include on-call rotation to be available by phone for Caregiver guidance. Candidate must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the ND Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with formulating a plan of a care for tenants and report changes in conditions to RN and/or physicians when necessary; providing nursing care to tenants according to physicians’ orders; administering medications and treatments as prescribed; documenting correctly and concisely in accordance with facility policy; effectively managing incidents and emergencies; supervising and delegating appropriately to the Caregivers (CNA/NA/MA) to meet tenants’ daily needs; and collaborating with co-workers, tenants, families, and physicians..
Caregiver (NA/CNA/MA I): P/T or F/T
This position provides tenants with routine cares, medication assistance, housekeeping, and various tasks assigned by Park Avenue Villa assisted living procedures and as directed by supervision. This ad is for a full-time and part-time overnight shift (either 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM or 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM), part-time day shift (Medication Aide/CNA), and part-time and full-time evening shift positions. Ideal candidates have NA or CNA certification and/or MA I qualification and are in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry. Training is available to qualified candidates.
ST. LUKE’S HOME – Long Term Care Facility:
Charge Nurse (LPN or RN): P/T or F/T
This position directs nursing care to the residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by certified nursing assistants, certified medical assistants and support personnel. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Full-time and part-time day, evening, and overnight shifts available. Incentive pay available to eligible employees. Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): P/T or F/T
This position provides quality nursing care to residents; implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations. There are full-time and part-time positions available for days, evenings, and overnights with alternating weekend and holiday rotation. Must have a current CNA certification in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)-Geriatric Mental Health Unit: P/T or F/T
This position provides quality nursing care to the geriatric population of mental health; demonstrates specific procedures and unit operations; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to residents mental and physical activity of daily living needs; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations. Full-time and part-time positions available with alternating weekends and holidays. Must have a current CNA certification in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training: P/T and F/T
St. Luke’s home is now hiring interested candidates into full-time or part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions. The next CNA training course will start on November 21, 2022. Applicants do not need an active CNA certification in the ND Nurse Aide Registry to apply. Candidates will be provided an on-the-job training program consisting of both classroom and hands-on instruction. With these skills, new employees will be able to work with resident care directly related to activities of daily living, personal assistance needs, meal observations, and much more. This is a fast-paced learning experience open to motivated and compassionate candidates over the age of 16 who are interested in making a positive difference in the long-term healthcare field. Each new employee has the opportunity for a permanent position with the team. Various shifts and positions available.
Whirlpool Aide (CNA): F/T
This position is responsible for duties including bathing, shaving, nail trimming, reporting concerns to the Charge Nurse, assistance with mealtimes, and working as a CNA on a given unit. Qualities of a Whirlpool Aide must include the ability to work with other team members with resident transfers and in activities of daily living communication. Job abilities include documentation, organization, and planning skills to effectively perform the role. This is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities for the position. Full-time hours available with alternating weekends and holidays; must have active CNA certification and be in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry.
Administrative Assistant (CNA): P/T and F/T
This position is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties relating to the updating and organization of information on the nursing units; coordinating work within the units as well as with other outside agencies and departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries and requests from staff personnel and other duties as required by Nursing management. Candidates must be certified as active CNAs in good standing within the ND Nurse Aide Registry.
Dietary Assistant: P/T and F/T
In keeping with St. Luke’s/PAV tradition, we seek to enhance the quality of life and holistic growth of residents by providing high quality service in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to attain goals. The Nutrition and Food Services Assistant is responsible for providing food service to residents, guests, and employees under sanitary conditions and for aiding in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. This ad is for part-time, evening shift (4:15 PM to 8:30 PM) positions and full-time, day shift (6:15 AM to 2:15 PM) positions with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Experience or interest in cooking a plus, but not required.
Dietary Cook: P/T or F/T
