PARK AVENUE VILLA – Assisted Living Facility:

Caregiver (NA/CNA/MA): P/T or F/T

This position provides tenants with routine cares, medication assistance, housekeeping and various tasks assigned as established by Park Avenue Villa Assisted Living procedures and as directed by supervision. This ad is for part-time or full-time position, generally overnight shifts with weekend/holiday rotation. Ideal candidates will have experience as a Nurse Assistant (NA), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), or Medication Assistant (MA), but training is available to qualified candidates. Applicant must be in good standing with ND Nurse Aide Registry.

Park Avenue Villa is accepting applications for our upcoming Nurse Assistant and Medication Assistant 1 program for assisted living. The right candidates must possess the willingness to provide direct and indirect basic health care to tenants.  With these new skills, candidates will be able to demonstrate skills in basic nursing procedures, medication administration, provide emotional/spiritual support, organize group activities, and much more. Park Avenue Villa is accepting applications for full-time and part-time positions for night shifts.

ST. LUKE’S HOME – Long-Term Care Facility:

Temporary Nursing Assistant Training: P/T or F/T

St. Luke’s Home is now hiring interested applicants into full-time or part-time temporary Nursing Assistant (NA)
positions.  Applicants do not need an active CNA certification in the ND Nurse Aide Registry to apply. Candidates will be provided a short, two-day on-the-job training program. With these new skills, candidates will be able to work with resident care directly related to activities of daily living, personal assistance needs, meal observation, and much more. This is a fast-paced learning experience open to motivated and compassionate applicants over the age of 16 who are interested in long term care. Each candidate has the opportunity for a potential permanent position with the organization.  The position is open to caring applicants who wish to make a difference in the healthcare field.


Assistant Nurse Manager (LPN or RN): F/T

 

This position performs professional supervisory nursing practice in the care of the resident and family under the Nurse Manager. Work involves responsibility for the provision of quality nursing care given at the facility. The position is responsible for maintaining the quality and adequacy of nursing practice; for coordinating nursing and training programs; for recognizing and assisting in solving professional, administrative, and supervisory problems in an assigned area. Position exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving nursing problems within established policies and practices and is reviewed by the supervisor through conferences, reports and observation of results obtained. This is a full-time duty position; hours are from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. RN experience is highly desirable.

 

Staff Development Coordinator (RN): F/T

 

The staff development coordinator reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible to plan and implement education strategies for departments within St. Luke’s Home and Park Avenue Villa.
Maintains facility staff education on an individual basis in accordance with policies and procedures, and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.  Must possess, at a minimum, RN license from an accredited college or university; experience in long-term care is highly desirable.


Case Manager/Admissions Coordinator (RN or LPN): F/T


This position is responsible for coordinating the delivery of quality resident care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed and requires skill in planning and organizing nursing care. This position applies advanced nursing clinical skills in maintaining records and charts, in preparing written reports, and in maintaining effective working relationships with others. This role will work directly with admissions,
discharges, MDS documentation, care planning, mental health, and hospice referrals. Must possess, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university; RN and long-term care experience is highly desirable.
 

Charge Nurse (LPN or RN): P/T or F/T

This position directs nursing care to the residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by certified nursing assistants, certified medical assistants and support personnel. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Full-time and part-time evening and overnight shifts available. Incentive pay available to eligible employees. Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): P/T or F/T

This position provides quality nursing care to residents; implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations. There are full-time and part-time positions available, with alternating weekends; must have a current CNA certification and be in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Geriatric Mental Health Unit: P/T or F/T

This position provides quality nursing care to the geriatric population of mental health; demonstrates specific procedures and unit operations; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to residents mental and physical activity of daily living needs; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations. Full-time and part-time positions available with alternating weekends; must have a current CNA certification and be in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry.
