PARK AVENUE VILLA – Assisted Living Facility: 

Caregiver (NA/CNA/MA I): F/T

This position provides tenants with routine cares, medication assistance, housekeeping, and various tasks assigned by Park Avenue Villa assisted living procedures and as directed by supervision. This ad is for a full-time day shift position, a full-time overnight shift position, and a part-time evening shift position. Part-time weekend positions are also available, which consist of day and evening shifts. Ideal candidates have NA or CNA certification and/or MA I qualification and are in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry. Training is available to qualified candidates.

ST. LUKE’S HOME – Long-Term Care Facility: 

Charge Nurse (LPN or RN): P/T or F/T

This position directs nursing care to the residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by certified nursing assistants, certified medical assistants and support personnel. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Full-time and part-time day, evening, and overnight shifts available. Incentive pay available to eligible employees. Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.

Resident Care/Nurse Manager (RN): F/T

This position performs professional supervisory nursing practice in the care of the residents and family under the Direct of Nursing. Work involves responsibility for the provision of quality nursing care given at the facility. The position is responsible for maintaining quality and adequacy of nursing practice; coordinating nursing and resident programs; recognizing and assisting in solving professional, administrative, and supervisory problems in an assigned area. The Resident Care Manager exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving nursing problems within established policies and practices and is reviewed by the supervisor through conferences, reports, and observation of results obtained. Qualified candidates must have an active RN license from the state of ND.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): P/T or F/T

This position provides quality nursing care to residents; implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations. There are full-time and part-time positions available for days, evenings, and overnights with alternating weekend and holiday rotation. Must have a current CNA certification in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)-Geriatric Mental Health Unit: P/T or F/T

This position provides quality nursing care to the geriatric population of mental health; demonstrates specific procedures and unit operations; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to residents mental and physical activity of daily living needs; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations. Full-time and part-time positions available with alternating weekends and holidays. Must have a current CNA certification in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training: P/T and F/T

St. Luke’s home is now hiring interested candidates into full-time or part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions. Applicants do not need an active CNA certification in the ND Nurse Aide Registry to apply. Those selected will be provided a short, two-day on-the-job training program. With these skills new employees will be able to work with resident care directly related to activities of daily living, personal assistance needs, meal observations, and much more. This is a fast-paced learning experience open to motivated and compassionate candidates over the age of 16 who are interested in making a positive difference in the long-term healthcare field. Each new employee has the opportunity for a permanent position with the team. Various shifts and positions available.

Activity Assistant: F/T

This position assists the Activity Director in performing their duties within the Activity department. Depending on the area in which assigned, Activity Assistant duties and responsibilities may differ. General duties include: encouraging participants to make choices for themselves, presenting programs in front of a group of participants, encouraging positive social exchange with staff and other participants, assisting in various small group activities, assisting the Activity Director in creating and planning activities, participating in meetings, responding to management direction, restocking equipment and supplies used for activities, ensuring equipment is functional, and other related activities. Applicants must possess a valid state driver license and CNA certification is preferred due to the nature of duties. CNA training may be available. This ad is for a full-time evening shift (12:00 PM to 8:30 PM) position with rotating weekends and holidays.

Activity Assistant (CNA)-Geriatric Mental Health Unit: P/T and F/T

This position assists the Activity Director and Resident Care Manager in performing their duties within the geriatric mental health unit. The general duties include but are not limited to: encouraging participants to make choices for themselves, presenting programs in front of a group of participants, encouraging social exchange with staff and other participants, assisting in various small group activities, assisting the Activity Director in creating and planning activities, participating in meetings, responding to management direction, restocking equipment and supplies used for activities and plans, ensuring any equipment is functional, and other related activities and tasks. CNA certification is required due to the nature of the duties. This ad is for part-time and full-time day and evening shift positions with rotating weekends and holidays.

Whirlpool Aide (CNA): F/T

This position is responsible for duties including bathing, shaving, nail trimming, reporting concerns to the Charge Nurse, assistance with mealtimes, and working as a CNA on a given unit. Qualities of a Whirlpool Aide must include the ability to work with other team members with resident transfers and in activities of daily living communication. Job abilities include documentation, organization, and planning skills to effectively perform the role. This is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities for the position. Full-time hours available with alternating weekends and holidays; must have active CNA certification and be in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry.

Ward Clerk (CNA): P/T and F/T

This position is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties relating to the updating and organization of information on the nursing units; coordinating work within the units as well as with other outside agencies and departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries and requests from staff personnel and other duties as required by Nursing management. Candidates must be certified as active CNAs in good standing within the ND Nurse Aide Registry.

Dietary Assistant: P/T and F/T

In keeping with St. Luke’s/PAV tradition, we seek to enhance the quality of life and holistic growth of residents by providing high quality service in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to attain goals. The Nutrition and Food Services Assistant is responsible for providing food service to residents, guests, and employees under sanitary conditions and for aiding in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. This ad is for part-time, evening shift (4:15 PM to 8:30 PM) positions and full-time, day shift (6:15 AM to 2:15 PM) positions with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Experience or interest in cooking a plus, but not required.


Dietary Cook: P/T

 

In keeping with St. Luke’s/PAV tradition, we seek to enhance the quality of life and holistic growth of older persons by providing high quality service in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to attain goals. The dietary cook position is responsible for providing nourishing food to residents, guests and employees under sanitary conditions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures. This ad is for a part-time, 2 to 3 shifts per week, day shift (10:15 AM to 6:30 PM) position with every other weekend rotation.


Restorative Therapy (RT) Aide: P/T

 

This position provides residents efficient and effective restorative care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident and family satisfaction. This position also provides care within the standards of practice as accorded by certification and will promote the residents’ abilities and maintain their maximum functional potential and prevent decline. Candidates must possess an active CNA certification in good standing with the ND Nurse Aide Registry.
